17 Jul The Golden Rule Rescues Dog Who was almost at the Oswego Dam Spillway!

On the afternoon of July 17, 2023 the Golden Rule spotted this little dog swimming for his life – but he wouldn’t have made it on his own. He was headed straight for the spillway of the Oswego Dam!

The crew quickly plucked him from the water and took him back to his family.

We’ve assisted a few boats and have done a lot of water/hat/cushion overboard drills, but this is our first animal rescue.
