9/8/2023 Update: Regrettably and unavoidably the Golden Rule peace sail boat is unable to leave safe harbor in Racine, WI and will not be sailing to St. Joe’s, MI as planned. ALL OTHER EVENTS ARE ON – The Golden Rule ground crew are attending the remaining scheduled events, please join us for those.

 

The marina is about 15 miles from both the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Bridgman (to the south), and the Palisades atomic reactor in Covert (to the north).

Traverse City-based folk singer/songwriter Victor McManemy; SW MI-based Great Lakes Brass Band opens at 8:30pm. During the inter-band intermission, Golden Rule Project Manager Helen Jaccard, VFP Board Member Gerry Condon and local and state-wide watchdogs on the Palisades atomic reactor crisis will speak. Info-tabling throughout.
