The Great Loop voyage is complete!

Our visit to approximately 100 ports-of-call in a year and 10,000 miles was a resounding success! THANK YOU to the Over 1,000 people crewed, organized, hosted, spoke and performed at the 400+ events!

The trucker couldn’t get the Golden Rule to Humboldt Bay due to construction on Hwy 101, so the boat has been in Pt Richmond in San Francisco Bay since Monday Oct 2. Mary Ann Van Cura, Helen Jaccard, Gerry Condon, Paul Cox, and one other volunteer worked under the direction of Steve Buck, in the blazing heat, for the past week to get the boat ready to north to Humboldt Bay. We expect that Sunday October 8 the “commissioning” will be complete. Then we need to wait for a weather window to sail her north.

Thank you, especially, to Steve, who is from Humboldt Bay and just happened to be in the Bay Area when the Golden Rule arrived. This preparation could not have happened without him!
