05 May Engine trouble forces return to port

Many of you have noticed that the Golden Rule has turned around. “Treat others as you would have them treat you.” In following the biblical Golden Rule, we want to keep you all informed, so here’s what we know.
 
The boat launched out of San Diego at 11:45 am Wednesday. On Friday late afternoon, the crew notified us that there is water in the engine oil. They are returning to San Diego for repairs.

They are conserving their batteries, so only communicating what’s really needed – I expect to hear more from them when they are close to port and will report back with all of you that they are safely docked.
