Well-known author and media activist Norman Solomon will speak about Challenging the Warfare State in 2017. Norman Solomon is Executive Director of the Institute for Public Accuracy and co-founder/coordinator ofRootsAction.org, an online activist group that now has upwards of 1.5 million active members. He is the author of several books, including “War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning us to Death.” He was a Bernie Sanders delegate to the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
