02 Sep The Golden Rule is in Wisconsin!

We made it!
 
On Sept 2 Golden Rule arrived by truck to the St. Croix Marina in Hudson, WI near Minneapolis to begin “The Great Loop”. The voyage will take 15 months and we will visit approximately 100 cities and small towns in 10,000 miles.
Golden Rule arrived at the St Croix Marina in Hudson, WI around 9 am on Sept 2 as planned. Dave, other boat yard people, Collin Mueller and Justin Farner got the pulit and rowboat off and we all moved the masts off of the truck.

We will move the masts to stands later today and I’ll remove the carpet from them in preparation for sanding, epoxy, and paint.
Justin is acquiring the bottom and topside paint through his chandlery which is right across the river in the MN side.
