The Golden Rule Summer Season: California Coast

In early July, the Golden Rule sailed from San Diego to Humboldt Bay where the team that rebuilt her worked to prepare her for ocean sailing. Thank you Chuck DeWitt, Ryan Fargo, Don Mathes, Wil Van Natta, Steve Buck, Ed Fracker, Tim Dellas, Jim Truitt, Bill Eastwood and more!

 
We had wonderful Bon Voyage parties in Eureka, San Francisco, Berkeley and Santa Cruz, averaging over $1000 per stop. In addition, Alan Samuel donated $5000 for a marine broadband internet system, which has been installed. Thank you, Alan, chef Maggy Herbelin, Hostess Cat Steele and all of our volunteers, crew and helpers!
